There isn’t many Ecuadorian restaurants here in Montreal so when i found this restaurant I had to go try it and I wasn’t disappointed the service was really good, they have a friendly staff and great atmosphere. The food is delicious!!! I had a pulled pork sandwich that was packed with flavour it was amazing. They also have some vegetarian options! Truly a hidden gem must try and I will definitely be coming back!

Such a lovely and wonderful experience to come here. We had absolutely delicious food and the atmosphere was so friendly and kind. I will come back here every time I visit Montreal!!

First time I try Ecuadorian food and La Hueca was great! Had the Ecuadorian marinated tofu bowl with a side of Yuca
Great flavours and they give many options to customize the bowl. Their chimichuri and different mayo sauces compliment everything really well.
Nice owners that took the time to explain to me what each item on the menu was and delivered the plate to my table
Overall highly recommended for great flavours and really good price!

By far one of the best food establishments in Montréal. I tried this place for the first time 3 weeks ago and I've been back every week since. Not only is the food tasty and flavourful but it's also fairly priced. Definitely a hidden gem!

la hueca is a beautiful community and hidden gem surrounded by delicious ecuadorian food and an abundance of love. we ordered the encebollado soup and grilled beef plate with several different sauces and were so full we couldn't finish it all ! the portions are incredible. we always look forward to returning and can't wait to try new items on the menu. 💗🇪🇨

Incredible hidden gem in the middle of downtown. As an Ecuadorian, let me tell you this is the best Ecuadorian restaurant outside the country I've ever eaten at. The menu is compact but precise. The flavors are authentic and specific. The technique, presentation and experience really brought me back to my childhood. I liked it so much I think I came back 7 times during my trip and I'd keep doing so if I lived here. Keep track of their monthly specials which feature incredible, limited-time dishes like fanesca, fritada and more. La Hueca is for sure one of the best kept secrets in Montreal that you'll want to tell absolutely everyone about!

AMAZING little hidden gem! Will be definitely returning. The service was amazing and the cashier gave us some good recommendations. We ordered the grilled steak plate, the tofu plate, the chicken empanada and the cheese empanada. The steak was smokey and perfectly cooked. The cilantro sauce was my favourite and complimented the dish well. The red sauce was delicious as well. The steak plate came with plantains, rice, salad and lentils. I highly recommend trying the cheese empanada for dessert. It is dusted with a cinnamon sugar and has a nice cheese pull. The pastry is light and airy. Yummmmm! Will definitely come back again to try the other dishes including the encebollado.

Delicious cozy little place. Just happened to stumble upon it by chance and I'm happy we did! Authentic Ecuadorian cuisine with great flavor and portion sizes. Staff is super nice, too. We loved it! 100% recommend it 🙂
